THE BOTTOM LINE OF PROVIDING THE SCHOOL OUR STUDENTS AND COMMUNITY DESERVE:
$80 per year per $100k home value Almost half of the bond payment is already factored into the school budget. The money is needed for repairs to continue patching the building OR can go toward this significant investment in the future of our five town community. Please vote on November 2nd. The Mt. Abe Bond Project was initiated by community members that believe it is time to update and upgrade our middle and high school facilities. The building has seen no real renovation or updates since it was built in 1969. At the time it was built the school was the most innovative and advanced school building in the state. For 50 years the building has served the community well. However, it has become necessary for this generation to responsibly renovate the facilities in order to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for students. We must invest in our community resources so that it may serve the five-town community for another 50 years to come. See these slides for information about how the concept has changed since the initial vote in 2014 and how we have supported almost half of the bond payment into the school budget. For Mt. Abe's CURRENT layout please click here To watch a video tour of the school go to: http://vimeo.com/107966651 |
